The journey of The Color Brown began in 2008, when Rekha Dave turned her love for baking into something meaningful. What started as creating cakes for family soon grew into a passion, supported by a few well-wishers and a leap of faith.

Our Journey
It all started in 2008 when baking was just a passion. What began as creating cakes for family slowly turned into taking small custom orders with a leap of faith.
With a strong desire to improve, I learned cake decoration, explored advanced baking techniques, and trained in chocolate making to refine my skills.
I became a Certified Chocolatier from Barry Callebaut and expanded into designer cakes, handcrafted chocolates, and customized gifting.
With over 18 years of experience, the journey continues with the same passion — to create quality products and be known for meaningful craftsmanship.

Our Journey
Founded in 2008, The Color Brown began as a small passion project from home, inspired by a love for baking and chocolate making. With the support of a few early customers and a strong desire to learn, the journey grew into something much more meaningful. Over time, I trained in cake decorating, sugar flowers, and professional chocolatiering, including certification from Barry Callebaut.
What started in a home living room slowly transformed into a dedicated space filled with rich chocolate creations—giving the brand its name. For over 18 years, The Color Brown has been about creating elegant, handcrafted cakes and chocolates with care, creativity, and attention to detail. Every creation reflects our commitment to quality and making each celebration truly special.
